·         Obtained 1st Outstanding Rating in a major command-wide operational evaluation and readiness inspection for the sole forward deployed USAF tactical communications unit in the Republic of Korea.  Singled out by MAJCOM commander for outstanding personal contributions to rating.

·         Commended for success in planning and leading the upgrade of the entire USAF CITS (Combat Information Transport System) network at Fairchild AFB with minimal customer impact 9 months ahead of schedule. Migrated legacy MAN (FDDI) to a redesigned $3.2M Cisco based campus network infrastructure (OC-12ATM LANE core/Gig-E access layer backbone)

·         Designed and developed configurations to upgrade 200 access switches with Gig-E. Increased network bandwidth, improved core services, access layer connectivity, security, and manageability.

·         Selected as senior military engineer for the NOSC infrastructure management team. Collaborated extensively with outside agencies, subcontractors, and vendors to research and define network design strategies and implement appropriate solutions for PACAF.

·         Created PACAF’s first boundary network configuration templates; implemented standardized and optimized access lists on core site PACAF/NIPRNet premise Cisco routers; improved network performance, security, and manageability.
